Ever wish there was a Battlefield equivalent? Well, there is. It’s always fun putting together racetracks among other things in Garry’s Mod and the Halo Series’ Forge Mode.

While the newer Battlefields have been fantastic, lets take a look back at a few of the mods that made the incredible Battlefields of yesteryear even better. The introduction of hardcore servers for Battlefield 1 is just one of the changes that came with the game's massive Fall update. Hardcore servers for Battlefield 1 were announced last week.
"Playing on a hardcore server, you might not be assisted by a minimap, crosshair, or the ability to spot enemies depending on the server settings," the developer explained. In a blog post, EA said Battlefield 1's hardcore servers are targeted at "elite" players. EA announced on Twitter that the hardcore servers launched on all platforms- Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC-today at 4 AM PT / 7 AM ET. There is a new way to play Battlefield 1 today, as the World War I shooter's hardcore servers have gone live.
